About Eucor – The European Campus
5 Universities – 3 Countries – 1 Campus
Eucor – The European Campus offers the students of its five member universities the unique opportunity to take courses “à la carte” at any of the partner universities. Students remain enrolled at their home university, e.g. Freiburg, but can attend courses of their choice at the other four universities (Basel, Haute-Alsace, KIT, Strasbourg) without having to pay registration fees and with the possibility to have the acquired ECTS credits recognised for their degree.
Two forms of this free mobility are possible: temporary mobility and semester mobility. In contrast to the structured possibilities of a joint degree programme with integrated mobility, these two forms of mobility allow for a targeted addition to the degree programme of the home university. With temporary mobility, you attend individual courses at the host university while continuing your studies at your home university. With semester mobility, on the other hand, you spend an entire semester at another university with a programme you put together yourself. Depending on the case, the universities support mobility with a travel allowance or can offer a place in a student residence if you apply early enough.
All European Campus students also have access to the interdisciplinary offer of the other member universities and benefit from the same rights of use for services at the host university as at their home university (access to online services, canteens, borrowing from libraries etc.).
Whether you want to discover another university system, broaden your horizons and gain intercultural experience, work on your foreign languages or build a network and a CV with international flair - Eucor – The European Campus offers excellent conditions.
