Planning your stay abroad

You have to plan and organize your stay abroad independently. At the time of applying for the scholarship, you already need a binding confirmation from your host institution/your supervisor abroad with fixed beginning and end dates (including information on the working language).

You can ask your department/faculty, your student council and fellow students about contacts abroad.

In addition, you can have a look at the experience reports of the International Office to get ideas what other students have done abroad before you and how they managed to do so. The reports are listed by countries, programme lines and subjects: www.studium.uni-freiburg.de/en/counseling/exchange-programs-and-studying-abroad/freiburg-global-exchange/docs/testimonials?set_language=en
