Scholarship Amount and Duration of the Funding Period

The amount of the scholarship for Freiburg students amounts 800 euros per month. The duration of the scholarship is a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 9 months and depends on the lecture periods at the partner university. The scholarship is granted in the form of a subsidy and is counted in full as income towards BAföG.

The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM does not provide any travel cost allowance. You are welcome to apply for a travel grant from other funding organizations at the same time; this can be combined with the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM.
