One-time payment of 200 euros to enrolled students as of the effective date of 01. December 2022 with permanent residence or habitual place of residence in the Federal Republic of Germany (flat-rate energy payment).
On 21. December 2022, the federal law on the payment of a one-time flat-rate energy allowance for students (EPPSG) came into force. The law provides for a one-time payment of 200 euros to enrolled students and enrolled doctoral students as of the effective date of 1. December 2022, with permanent residence or habitual abode in the Federal Republic of Germany. Guest students are not eligible to apply. Students can apply for the one-time payment until 30. September 2023 at the latest (cut-off deadline).

The application for the payment has to be submitted to a central office: www.einmalzahlung200.de

To apply, students must have a BundID; if not already done, this can be set up now. Click here to register for the BundID: https://id.bund.de/de/eservice/konto

Using the BundID and an access code and PIN that the University of Freiburg will provide you with in your Campus Management Account, you can apply for the payment through the above portal. The role of the University of Freiburg in this process is to provide the lists of students enrolled as of 01. December 2022 to the central responsible office and to provide you with the access code and PIN to apply. The list must contain certain data of the students concerned. For detailed information on data protection, click here [DE].

It is very important that the data you enter when registering for BundID and your data stored in the Campus Management System match. You can log into your HISinOne account and view what data the university will store and transmit to the central responsible agency. If there is a discrepancy, you can change the personal data in your account until 13. March 2023.

In your HISinOne account, the University will provide you with the access code and PIN in due course. Students who are eligible to apply but who are exmatriculated at the time of application (by 30. September 2023 at the latest) and thus no longer have access to their HisInOne account, can obtain their access code and PIN in person at the Studierendensekretariat and International Admissions and Services of the Service Center Studium (Sedanstr. 6, 79098 Freiburg) upon presentation of their ID card.
