International Student Admissions

There are several possibilities for studying at the University of Freiburg as an international student:

• Full-time studies, meaning that you complete an entire course of study at the University of Freiburg and earn a degree (Bachelor, Master, Dr./PhD). The application portal for undergraduate studies is open from June 1st for the winter semester, and from December 1st for the summer semester.
• Short-term studies, meaning that you study for one or two semesters as an exchange student at the University of Freiburg.

There is also the opportunity to study at the University of Freiburg as part of an exchange or partnership program:

• Erasmus Program
• University of Freiburg Global Exchange  coordinated by the International Office
• Faculty-level partnership: Please contact the faculty coordinating the partnership.
• EUCOR for students of the Universities of Strasbourg, Haute-Alsace, Basel and KIT
