(Psychopedagogue with migration experience)

Being able to connect positively with our new role as international students is a matter close to my heart, as it also has to do with my own story. I was born in Argentina, have a degree in psychopedagogy and have been living in Freiburg for more than 11 years. For a long time after my transoceanic move, I felt here strange and lost. I was trying hard to fit in, since I thought that “being different” only brought disadvantages.  I´d experienced a strong identity crisis: Who am I here? Will I be accepted and approved one day? Can I be happy and successful in Germany? Do you also know the feeling? That's why we'll see each other in this workshop! To learn how to turn challenges into growth opportunities, discovering that our uniqueness is our greatest gift. Please bring curiosity, openness, a desire to exchange ideas and something to write with.

I am so looking forward to meeting you!

Why should you visit this workshop?

Together we will find answers:

  • How can I create a positive identification with my new role as an international student?
  • What does it mean to be different?
  • What are the benefits of my migration experience?
  • How can I lead a self-determined life in Germany and successfully complete my studies?
  • How can I turn challenges into opportunities?

What requirements should you bring with you?

  • Personal: The focus of the workshop is on joint interaction, so it is important that you are motivated and committed. You should be willing to exchange ideas with others.
  • Time: Please plan the date firmly and participate in the complete workshop session. Please let us know in advance if you cannot attend the session for a valid reason.
